As A General Title

"And Jesus said to them, "Whose likeness and inscription is this?" They said, "Caesar's." Then He said to them, "Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's [see Custom and Tribute], and to God the things that are God's." (Matthew 22:20-21 RSV)

"They cried out, "Away with Him, away with Him, crucify Him!" [see How Did Jesus Christ Die?] Pilate said to them, "Shall I crucify your King?" The chief priests answered, "We have no king but Caesar." (John 19:15 RSV)

"And when they could not find them, they dragged Jason and some of the brethren before the city authorities, crying, "These men who have turned the world upside down have come here also, and Jason has received them; and they are all acting against the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, Jesus." "But Paul said, "I am standing before Caesar's tribunal, where I ought to be tried; to the Jews I have done no wrong, as you know very well. "In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be enrolled. This was the first enrollment, when Quirinius was governor of Syria. And all went to be enrolled, each to his own city. And while they were there, the time came for her to be delivered. "In the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judea, and Herod [see The Herods] being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of the region of Ituraea and Trachonitis, and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene, in the high-priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John [see John The Baptist] the son of Zechariah in the wilderness; and he went into all the region about the Jordan [see The Jordan River], preaching a Baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins." (Luke 3:1-3 RSV)

"Now in these days Prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch. And one of them named Agabus stood up and foretold by the Spirit that there would be a great famine over all the world; and this took place in the days of Claudius." (Acts 11:27-28 RSV)
