Kaiser

The term Caesar originated with the family of Gaius Julius, better known to history as Julius Caesar (102-44 B.C.). After his assassination on the Ides of March, the imperial title of Caesar was assumed by the Roman emperors who succeeded him. It was also adopted by later rulers of other nations, particularly the German Kaiser (pronounced kye-zer).

Caesar Since the Roman empire (see Ancient Empires - Rome and Daniel's Statue) rose to greatness after the Old Testament (see Old Testament Fact File) section of Bible History had been completed, references to Caesar are found only in the New Testament (see New Testament Fact File):
